1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading or using SpaceUp — AI Storage Cleaner (“SpaceUp”, “the app”), you agree to these Terms of Use. SpaceUp is published by BAKIR STORE LLC (“we”, “us”), 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste 10040, Albuquerque, NM 87110, United States. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. What SpaceUp does

SpaceUp helps you find and clean up photos and videos on your device — duplicates, similar shots, blurry images, screenshots, and large videos — and compress videos to save space. Photo and video analysis runs on your device; your photos and videos are not uploaded to us. Deletion uses your device’s recoverable trash where available.

3. Your account and eligibility

SpaceUp does not require an account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract and to hold a Google Play account in your country.

4. Subscriptions and billing

On Android, subscriptions are billed through Google Play as described below. On iOS, subscriptions will be billed through the App Store under equivalent terms shown before purchase.

SpaceUp offers optional paid subscriptions that unlock premium features.

• Subscriptions are sold and billed through Google Play and are subject to Google Play’s Terms of Service. Payment is charged to your Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Google Play account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Managing or canceling: You can manage or cancel a subscription anytime in the Google Play Store under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current paid period.
• Free trial: SpaceUp offers a 3-day free trial on eligible subscriptions. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins and your Google Play account is charged. If you subscribe during a trial, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when the paid subscription begins.
• Refunds: Purchases are handled by Google Play and are subject to Google Play’s refund policies. We do not process payments directly and generally cannot issue refunds ourselves.
• Price changes: If we change subscription prices, changes apply to future billing periods, and where required we or Google Play will notify you in advance and seek any consent the law requires.

Current subscription options, prices, and features are shown in the app before you purchase.

5. Free and paid features

Some features are free and some require a subscription. We may change which features are free or paid, add or remove features, and update the app over time.

6. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use SpaceUp on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and the Google Play Terms of Service.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law; resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the app; use the app to violate any law or infringe anyone’s rights; or interfere with the app’s operation or security.

8. Your content and responsibility

SpaceUp acts on the photos, videos, and files on your device at your direction. You are responsible for reviewing what you delete or compress. Although SpaceUp uses recoverable trash where available, you are responsible for keeping your own backups. We are not liable for loss of files.

9. Intellectual property

SpaceUp, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by BAKIR STORE LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.

10. Disclaimers

SpaceUp is provided “as is” and “as available”, to the extent permitted by law and without prejudice to your mandatory statutory rights, including the legal guarantee of conformity under applicable French and EU consumer law. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that its detection, estimates, or compression results will meet your expectations. Results depend on your device and content. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BAKIR STORE LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded or limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory French and EU consumer law — nothing in these Terms limits it. Subject to that, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to use the app in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Privacy

Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy at https://spaceupapp.com/privacy. By using SpaceUp you also agree to that policy.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Termination

You may stop using SpaceUp at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
